campbell reports from our washington, d.c. newsroom, the obama administration is now making a push for all spy agencies to have the same access. >> reporter: there's a report out from "reuters" and it says there is a treasury department document stating the obama administration wants to give all u.s. spy agencies access to a massive financial database. right now, only the fbi has full access to the database. other spy agencies like the cia and national security agency have to file case by case request to get that same information. and "reuters" says the white house is taking action so the agencies can have unlimited access. banks have to report any cash transactions over $10,000 as suspicious and they get put into this database. "reuters" says banks often overreport to be safe and that puts americans with no criminal instent in the spotlight of the federal government. >> we also to make sure that we're giving it sufficient oversight that congress is paying attention as well as the privacy information. >> reporter: expanding the bank account access
